Cliff Mastricola |
Cliff founded San Diego Torrey Hills Capital, Inc. in 1998. As founder, Cliff is responsible for developing our clients' overall corporate finance strategies, particularly in relation to raising debt and equity capital, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, recapitalizations, and in transitioning private companies to the public markets.
In his prior life, Cliff was a Principal of The Boston Group, a full-service brokerage and investment banking firm providing institutional and retail sales and trading services, equity research, and asset management for select clientele. At The Boston Group, Cliff advised public and private companies throughout North America, completing capital-raising transactions totaling more than $500 million. Cliff has also held senior management positions at Fector, Detwiler & Company and Van Kasper and Company, both of which are regional investment banking firms. In addition to business, Cliff is involved with several charitable organizations. |

James E. Macdonald |
Jim joined San Diego Torrey Hills Capital, Inc. in 2003. Jim represents and advises senior management, shareholders, and boards of directors with regard to corporate development and strategic planning, with a focus on maximizing shareholder value.
Prior to joining Torrey Hills Capital, Jim was a Senior Financial Analyst with Baldwin & Clarke Corporate Finance, Inc., an investment banking and corporate financial advisory firm located in Boston, Massachusetts. At Baldwin & Clarke, Jim was responsible for performing financial analysis and market research to evaluate investment and merger and acquisition opportunities. Jim's transactional experience is made up of companies in a variety of industries, including high technology, risk management, and foodservice distribution.
Jim holds a BS in English from Dartmouth College and a Masters of Business Administration from the Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College. |

Clayton Chase |
Clay joined San Diego Torrey Hills Capital, Inc. in 2002. Clay's primary duties at Torrey Hills Capital include working with public company clients to maximize their awareness in the marketplace with both retail and professional investors. Prior to joining Torrey Hills Capital Clay worked directly for, and advised small cap public companies on investor awareness campaigns and coordinated interface with brokers, analysts and buyside managers. After five years working in the aerospace industry as a liaison engineer, Clay transitioned into the financial industry working as a registered representative for a San Diego based brokerage firm, Royale Securities, and was the west coast consultant for a New York based hedge fund.
Clay holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Colorado. |

Ethan Heck |
Ethan joined San Diego Torrey Hills Capital, Inc. in 2010. Ethan is responsible for researching and identifying business development opportunities for Torrey Hills Capital across multiple industry sectors. In addition to his work identifying new business opportunities, Ethan assists in the coordination of institutional “non deal” road show programs. In this role, Ethan helps expand the awareness of Torrey Hills Capital's portfolio companies through in-person presentations with fund managers and analysts in key financial centers.
Prior to joining Torrey Hills Capital, Ethan was a Senior Account Executive at Five Point Capital, a leading provider of equipment leasing solutions to small and medium size businesses. Ethan attended Chico State University. |

Mark Rauseo |
Mark joined San Diego Torrey Hills Capital, Inc. in 2010. Mark is responsible for researching and identifying business development opportunities for Torrey Hills Capital across multiple industry sectors. In addition to his work identifying new business opportunities, Mark assists in the coordination of institutional “non deal” road show programs. In this role, Mark helps expand the awareness of Torrey Hills Capital's portfolio companies through in-person presentations with fund managers and analysts in key financial centers.
Mark brings to Torrey Hills Capital more than 14 years of experience in the financial services industry, including investment executive positions with firms such as The Boston Group, Lehman Brothers, and Bear Stearns. Mark earned a degree in Finance from Merrimack College. He has held FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63 securities registrations. |

In this role, Ryan helps expand the awareness of Torrey Hills Capital's portfolio companies through in-person presentations with fund managers and analysts in key financial centers.
Prior to joining Torrey Hills Capital, Ryan was a Account Manager with MD7, a leading operations and financial services consultant to wireless and wire line operators by way of management of their infrastructure-related real estate assets. Ryan received a degree in Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University. |
